One of the first real outings i've had since getting back from our summer travels; I ventured out to Meech Lake in Gatineau Park at the tail-end of a massive snowfall. Arriving around 9am, I was surprised to see that I'd be making the first tracks into the location. With this spot all to myself, I keyed in on the lone rowboat must have broke free of its mooring further up the lake and drifted towards this small run-off area before getting hung-up in the shallow waters. This ended up being a 4-row/32-shot panoramic image that was able to capture the incredible detail of the freshly-fallen snow on the trees around me. Gatineau, QC
“…A single ray of light from a distant star falling upon the eye of a tyrant in bygone times may have altered the course of his life, may have changed the destiny of nations, may have transformed the surface of the globe, so intricate, so inconceivably complex are the processes in Nature. In no way can we get such an overwhelming idea of the grandeur of Nature than when we consider…throughout the Infinite, the forces are in a perfect balance, and hence the energy of a single thought may determine the motion of a universe.” - Nikola Tesla Page, AZ
