Golden light leaks into the dome which connects the shop buildings and onto this amazing limestone staircase in Kingston Penn.
Abraham Lincoln sits within his Memorial overlooking the Reflecting Pool and the Washington Monument. This quiet and clear night was a perfect opportunity to photograph this amazing architecture with minimal people disrupting the shot.
Our last night in NYC for this trip finished in the Flatiron District of Manhattan and the famous building that anchors it. A tall and conveniently placed power transformer served as a makeshift tripod for this shoot, with my wallet raising the lens hood up enough to frame the building and street in one shot. Standing below and peering up at the LCD screen between shots eventually led to this final image with the crosstown traffic streaking along the bottom of the frame. A great setting for what turned out to be another amazing trip to NYC.
