No creative photoshop or people removal in this one. This was simply taking the subway to the end of the line and having the whole train to myself. In a few short moments, the doors will open, the people will flood back in, and the process will start all over again. Toronto, ON
Rochleau Court is said to be haunted by the ghost of Theresa Beam who was pregnant when she was murdered by her lover John Napier. It is believed that she was buried beneath the walkway, and haunts the path asking visitors to help find her bones. For better or worse, I did not have the pleasure of running into Theresa, but was instead greeted with this pre-dawn shot leading off King St. Kingston, ON
Having lived in Kingston on numerous occasions throughout my life, I have always had trouble finding unique locations to shoot this historical city. I have travelled through this particular area many times as a student venturing bar to bar, yet failed to recognize how special it was. An early morning walk downtown led me back to this location where the lights illuminating the pathway cast their warm glow across the tight limestone corridor. A unique tripod setup and a few shots later, I was back out exploring the Kingston waterfront, which proved much less successful than this first shot. Kingston, ON
